INTRODUCTION
Enkasiti Primary School is a mixed day and boarding school in Kajiado County of Kenya. The school is situated in a serene environment 3km away from the main Namanga Nairobi road. Its roughly 15km from Kitengela town.
In the past five years, the school has experienced tremendous growth in terms of pupil’s enrolment. The current school enrolment stands at 1054 pupils. This is due to improved academic performance that peaked in 2012 with the KCPE mean grade of 289.25 and has been leading in Isinya Sub-County for the past 4 years In 2016 it managed position two with a mean score of 289.30 in public schools’ category. In 2020/21 national exams the school managed to excel with a means score of 328 .01 and 330.58 with 103 registered candidates who sat the exams, emerging first public school in Kajiado county for the two consecutive years Enkasiti Primary School being located in a strategic location there has been increased enrollment and growth leading to boarding of class seven and eight pupils.
However, this has become a challenge lack of enough classrooms to accommodate the ever increasing number of pupils in the school. Currently more than eighty pupils are being accommodated in one classroom which is against the recommended Ministry of Education ratio of forty pupils per class. This creates a challenge also to the teachers who are unable to handle all the high number of pupils in one class. Despite the challenges experienced, the school has strived to offer holistic education, for spiritual, social, physical and intellectual growth of the pupils, and this is indicated by the results the school has been posting over the years It is against this background, that the school Board of Management and Parent Association has, therefore, decided to look for a funds to help build four more classes to accommodate the pupils. Please join us for the sake of the child to make this dream a reality. Building four more classes in the school will guarantee that the pupils will benefit from a clean and conducive learning environment which will translate to improved performance of the pupils.
School Mission Provision of Quality education and opportunities to all pupils for a better society School Vision Learning inspired by quality teaching which builds individual strengths and talent School Motto Together We Succeed.
